Hi Everyone,
I just want to say, Memorial Day is rough for me. I was part of the 307^th MP Company of New Kensington and we lost two of our own: Sgt Eric Hull and Sgt Nick Tomko while in Baghdad. Think of friends and loved ones that have never made it back to their families and celebrate n reflect the friends and family that you currently have…

Here are the Friday through Monday events that I think are special.

John from Shaler is meeting a group of people at the Incline Parking lot at 8pm Friday and going up into Mt. Washington for Dinner and Drinks, so far he has at least 6+ people going…

Tricia has a great weekly Ecstatic Dance event, if you like to DANCE, GO! Its a regular event that happens to be posted on meetup. Carolyn has a cool Sober Party at the Bantha Tea Bar and that’s a lot of fun. Or Pop Punk Party at the smiling moose, i’ve gone to that and it’s tons of fun and worth your time. And I… Frank (BIG KAHUNA) will be going to the Open Mic Night at Mr. Smalls this monday, it’s one of the best open mic nights around and worth your time. 

This friday through sunday is FUNKY FEST at a new festival grounds called “THE GLADES FESTIVAL GROUNDS” right on Border of PA/WV about 9 miles away from Nemacolin, great place to see a festival! I was there twice last year and had a blast camping and jamming n dancing to the music!

If you want to go fishing and don’t have a license you are allowed. PA has a FISH FOR FREE day on Sunday. It’s okay to go fishing without a license that day...

Bunch of fitness events: Yoga, Barre Workouts, Water Aerobics, Tai Chi. Always lots of cool workouts on the meetups.

Several Memorial Day events: Memorial Day Concert today! Monday, Special Memorial Day Celebration at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery, Free Memorial Day (sunday) tours of Homewood Cemetery. Like I said above, celebrate and reflect.
